identifying things - like satellites

some times I sit in the garden and count the bird species I see. I say
there names as I spot them; ring-neck parrot or 28 ( I don't know how
they get 28 out of its screech - sounds nothing like 28 to me), willy
wag-tail or chitty-chitty (and it does go chitty chitty that one),
silver eye, blue wren etc. If I dont know the name I make one up:
cockle-ockle bird for instance. It must be like what happens with the
satellite spotters; you feel much more comfortable having given them a
name.
