Growth

Growth growth growth is all our politicians are on about; big
Australia, more skilled workers, ageing population and growth; dig it
up quicker, ship it out fast, take short cuts hurry hurry hurry.
Don't they realise that growth is terminal? Everything that grows
dies. Growth is not sustainable, it eats resources, destroys the
environment, and brings with it an ever widening gap between rich and
poor with more poverty and fewer mega-rich.
