hmmm

seems to me that a lot of our politicians, especially the current
gov't and most especially Kev and Julia, talk in newspaper headlines -
three or four word impact phrases that they repeat ad nauseum. GREAT
BIG NEW TAX, WORKING FAMILIES, GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS, the list goes
on... Who are they talking down to with that crap? I find it
condescending and patronising as well as monotonous. It sounds a lot
like it is generated by some PR firm that has tickets on itself. The
other party seems to be getting infected with it as well, although
perhaps, in a more retaliatory and slightly sarcastic manner.
I reckon they should jam all that up their collective jacksy and learn
to talk proper.
